- For a non-profit organisation: the site generates direct or indirect revenue (subscription, advertising, sponsoring, merchandising…)
e.g.: you set up a fan club and offer by subscription for a fee to a newsletter illustrated with sound and pictures.
e.g.: you are a museum and have created an online shop illustrated with sound and pictures, where you sell reproductions of the works you promote on your site).
OR
- For a commercial organisation: the site presents the company and/or its products or services and by ecommerce.

Please note that if you use recordings produced by record companies, you must also obtain their authorization to broadcast their recordings.
All minima mentioned above are subject to a 50% deduction for all single-track sales or rental offered by the provider of audiovisual works available in the territory for 24 months following their first commercial availability on a platform for sale or rental on demand.

What is a web report?
A web report is an audiovisual work integrating music from the protected Sacem repertoire (62 million works).
A web report is in the form of a report, an interview broadcast exclusively on the internet with an average duration of 3 to 10 minutes and carried out by individuals, associations, communities, institutions or companies to present a job, an event, an activity, a sponsorship action…
It’s not a corporate or brand promotion film or web fiction.
The web report presents news, promotes an action or reflects an event.
Examples:
- a town hall films a school outing or the meal of the Elderly, or interviews a user on a development carried out by the roads etc.
- a company makes a film about a sponsorship action or the interview of a sportsman during a competition, or makes a seminar film ...
- an individual films his wedding, an evening, a family event ...

Getting a Licence
Download the licence request, fill it in and return by e-mail or by post.
- Other licences may be necessary, depending on the type of music you want to use (pre-existing music, commissioned music, etc).
- When the duly filled-in licence request has been received and depending on the presence of works belonging to repertoires represented by SDRM, you will receive an invoice. As soon as payment has been received, your licence bearing the mention « Acceptance » will be sent to you.

any licence request which is incomplete or incorrectly filled in will be returned, which will delay the licensing procedure.

You plan to offer a ringtone, greeting message, musical or audio dedication and call tone download service for mobile phones with the ability to preview.
For a service providing ringtones and ringback tones for mobile phones in the context of single-track sales
- Remuneration of 12% of income plus a minimum** of 0.10 € (exc VAT)* per work used and per download.
For a service providing ringtones and ringback tones for mobile phones in the context of the sale in packs or by subscription
Remuneration of 12% of income plus a minimum** of 0.07 € (exc VAT)* per work used and per download.

**The amount of remuneration per download cannot be less than the minimum amount.
In the context of the above-mentioned tariffs, when the service also provides access to works in the form of pre-listening and/or previewing of excerpts, a monthly flat fee of €100 (exc VAT)* for every type of access (interactive voice server, fixed and mobile Internet site) applies in addition to the tariff per download.

Getting a license for the production of a corporate film
1-Getting a Licence
The producer of the audiovisual work needs to fill out the request for authorization form, specifying the number of copies required, the exact titles of the works he/she wants to use, with the names of the authors, composers and publishers, as well as the length of each and every song. If any one of these elements is missing, the DRIM returns the form to the producer, leading to further delay.
Attention!
Certain licences, other than the one delivered by the SDRM, are required and must appear on the request for authorization form. We advise you to visit SACEM France’s website for further information.
2- Necessary procedures before the audio-visual realization
The producer needs to contact SACEM in order to get the request for authorization forms "Audiovisuels institutionnels”.
