The role of the Committee, which is advisory in nature, is to examine all issues related to copyright management in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the cultural activities undertaken by the Society, and to provide its opinions and proposals to the Manager of the Society, who has the right to attend meetings of this Committee.

"The role of the Commission, which is consultative in nature, consists of examining all issues related to the management of copyright in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the cultural initiatives led by the company, and to share its opinions and proposals with the Manager of the company, who has the right to attend the meetings of this Commission.
The members of the Consultative Commission of Rights Holders are bound by a duty of discretion, confidentiality, and loyalty in the exercise of their mission, an obligation which continues beyond the end of their mandate, regarding matters and data they became aware of in the course of their duties."

The advisory committee is elected at a general assembly of all SACEM member authors and composers residing in Luxembourg.
