Whether you are organizing a concert, a ball, an exhibition, a conference, or any other type of event, you may play musical works created by authors and composers. The music remains the property of its creators. Sacem provides the necessary prior authorization to legally use works from its repertoire, whether music is the main focus of your event or simply used as background sound.
We firmly believe that authors, composers, and publishers deserve equitable compensation for their creative contributions. The royalties you provide serve as a testament to this commitment, ensuring that their efforts are duly recognized and rewarded. A Noteworthy Reminder:
For events offering free admission, it's imperative to note that if the artistic fee surpasses €1,200, it necessitates the completion and submission of an additional form to Sacem.
After the event, please fill out the receipt form, inclusive of the program of works broadcasted, and send them back to us at the following address:
In the absence of the program listing the works performed, a default rate of 6.41% will be applied.

Information
You are organizing a concert, a ball, or another musical event.
On this occasion, you will be publicly playing musical works created by authors and composers. The music belongs to them. SACEM grants you prior authorization to use the works in its repertoire.
Authors, composers, and publishers are entitled to remuneration for their intellectual property rights.
The copyright fees you pay are then distributed among the creators and publishers, thus rewarding their work.

- In the case of an event with free entrance and if the artist's fee is higher than 1200€, the royalty rate is 6.41% of the artistic budget. Below this amount, i.e. if the artist's fee is less than €1200, a flat rate per evening is charged.

- In the case of events with entrance fee, the basic rate for the remuneration of authors is 6.41% of the entrance revenue.
