There are two options:
1. By downloading a Registration Form (from the media library) (Some PDF files can be filled out online and some need to be printed out and completed by hand!
2. By registering your work online on your personal account, for SACEM members only, on sacem.fr.
By downloading them from our media library.
N.B.: To ensure acceptance by SACEM, the Registration Forms should not be crossed out, nor whitewashed.
For a registration in paper form, you should join a CD or the score.
For an online registration, sound files can be submitted in mp3 or wav, for example.
Do not forget to join the lyrics, and, in case of a published work, the disposal agreement and the publishing contract.
Whether you register your work online, or in paper form, you must indicate your role (author, composer, publisher,…) and indicate the percentage share for the reproduction rights (CD, video,…)
The entire share, of all the different creators and publishers of the work, must be a total of 100%.
The distribution of royalties for the public performance of a published work is, as prescribed under article 57, of the SACEM Regulations.
Don’t forget to indicate your international number that you can find on your membership card, or, your SACEM account number (COAD) that you can find on your royalty distribution form.
The destination of the arrangement is the details of the holdings for which the arranger has performed this work. He will only receive rights from these holdings.
If the arrangement was made for a specific record or for a series of concerts, then two repositories must be established:
It is also essential to join two media (CD ...): that of the original work and that of the arranged work.
If the arrangement has been made for all the exploitations of the work and the arranger is to receive rights systematically, a single deposit with the words "Arrangement valid for all destinations" is sufficient.
To note:
Arranged works cannot be deposited online in your member area. Please download a declaration form from the media library.
